The Under-12 Boys continue to improve this season.
The Under 12’s are currently sitting in fourth position, with the possibility of finishing third on the table if they secure three points against ladder leaders Glen Waverley in their last game for the year.
The Under 12’s have had nine wins and three losses for the season.
Coach Anthony also known ‘Gez,’ said he has been impressed with how his team have improved throughout the season.
“The team have learnt many new skills,” he said.
“From the early days of basic control, to team work, to skills, game formation plays, the boys have set themselves for an exciting end to the season.”
The Under-12 Boys game day coach said he has enjoyed his side’s progression as footballers and hopes all of the team will sign up for next year.
“Developing the boys to become real footballers is a challenge,” he said.
“To appreciate the game, the skill, the commitment it takes to excelling is a maturity that comes with experience and confidence in your own ability.”
“The Under-12 Boys have all shown this and I have been very proud to lead them as coach.”
“Hopefully all will be excited to sign up for the 2019 season.”
The Under-12 Boys will take on Glen Waverley on Sunday 2 September from 9am at Capital Reserve.
