1st v 2nd
The Under-14 Boys will be taking on Montrose for top spot and the title at the Don Road Complex. Our Under-14 Boys are coming from an astonishing 8-0 victory to Monash City, while Montrose are coming from a 3-0 victory to Collingwood City last weekend.
Under-14 Boys (WWWDW)
The Under-14 Boys have had a stellar year with 11 wins and two losses. Coming from a 1-1 draw with Croydon City, the boys were able to secure an impressive 8-0 victory against Monash City led by a seven-goal haul to Golden Boot winner Eden Reed. Now with only one game to go for the season, and having defeated Montrose earlier this year, the Under-14 Boys will be aiming for three points to secure top spot.
Montrose, like the Under-14 Boys, have had an excellent year with 10 wins and three losses. Coming off a bye, Montrose were able to secure all three points with a comfortable victory against Collingwood City last weekend. Currently in good form with four wins in the past five weeks, Montrose will be looking to bounce back from their loss to Healesville in Round 9 this year and secure top spot with an upset away from home.
The last time these two sides met was in Round 9 where the Under-14 Boys secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Montrose at Keith Hume Fraser Reserve courtesy of a goal by Eden Reed.
