The Healesville Soccer Club is excited to welcome Milton Sakkos as our Senior Coach for the 2018 season.
Milton joins us after a successful coaching career which has included: NPL side Northcote City FC, NPL 2 side Brunswick City FC and the Australian Men’s Futsal team at the 2008-09 World Cup in Barcelona!
According to Milton, coming to Healesville SC “is an opportunity to build something from a lower league. An ambitious club with a growing population and a growing interest in football”. Plus he is excited to come to Healesville because there is “no baggage that the Club holds, no politics.”
Living in Doncaster, Milton says the travel to Healesville won’t be an issue for his family. “They’re a soccer family. They are use to the nights out and the days away. My wife’s family is involved in football and I have been involved in football all my life. So we are used to the commitment.”” he said.
Healesville SC Vice President, Klaus Gottwald, says it was a big decision by the club to secure Milton and is looking forward to working with him in all aspects of the game and within our club.
The appointment has receive a very positive response from players, members and the committee.
